New audiometer at Yanika Center
Center "Yanika" got a new audiometer yesterday, presented at an official party with the parents and children. Audiometer is compact and comfortable in appearance and has all the features needed by the children at the Center. Now the therapists will check hearing in a real environment while the kids wear their cochlear implants or hearing aids.
"The presence of such audiometer will greatly facilitate our work - said Tanya Dimitrova, director of the Centre "Yanika." - We will be able to do audiograms as ofen as needed and will send our children to the medical doctors for sound check with specific recommendations as their therapists."
"We are pleased to help where we see that our help will be well used - shared Craig and Priscilla Stutz, who presented the audiometer. 'You are wonderful women doing marvelous service" - they added.
The audiometer is donation of the charitable service of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
